Microneedling is a treatment that involves penetrating the skin with micro-thin sterile needles with a depth of up to 3 mm for skin improvement, improvement of scars, stretch marks, acne, pigmentation, pores, lines/wrinkles, rosacea, telangiectasias/visible blood vessels, milia and nodules.
There are different types of needling equipment; stamps, rollers and pens.
